| On a planter, the
delivery ends of the micro-tubes are attached to the planter shanks,
trailing down the furrow just behind the seed tubes. On a
cultivator, the chemical is placed near the plant for direct uptake.
On tillage equipment, the tubes are usually attached to the sweeps for a
broadcast effect. From the tractor cab, the driver controls the flow
pump and sensor/control unit to regulate the amount of liquid flowing
through the tubes.
Controlled flow lets you apply precise
amounts for consistent results. Micro-tubes can easily be directed
to deliver chemicals exactly where you want them. Placing fertilizer
or chemical in the furrow with the seed provides complete coverage.
Easy-to-fill tanks minimize handling of
chemicals. No nozzles or orifices to adjust or unclog reduces
operator exposure. The chemical solution is placed directly into the
furrow, so there's practically no possibility of physical chemical drift.
Applying the chemicals at planting time
puts the chemicals right where they are needed most during germination and
critical early development times. With the Micro-Tube system, every
seed, and every row gets the same application, so results are consistent.
Liquid fertilizers are therefore readily available for direct use by the
plant without the need for additional moisture.
The Micro-Tube System is easy to use,
simply fill the supply tanks, start the system, and proceed with planting,
tillage or cultivation. The cab-mounted controller unit lets the
tractor operator monitor and adjust the solution flow rate to all rows at
the same time... on the go!
Every system is custom configured for the
implement on which it will be used. The systems adjusts to handle
liquids of various viscosities. The system can be configured to
apply more than one product at the same time. For more information
