What is Agri-Inject’s Micro-Tube System?
The Agri-Inject Micro-Tube System allows growers to accurately place starter fertilizer and crop protection products directly into the furrow or soil during tilling, planting or cultivating. The system consists of a tank, flow pump, controller and a patented network of precision sized tubing attached to the implement for precise product placement with extreme accuracy. Used in conjunction with our patented Quick Quad Dividers and Multi-Quad Dividers, the system pumps a uniform stream of liquid through a network of precision-sized tubing.
How it Works
Controlled product flow allows the Micro-Tube system to apply precise
amounts of liquid for consistent results. A cab-mounted controller lets
the tractor operator monitor and adjust the solution flow rate to all
rows at the same time – on the go!
Multiple rate control systems are available for use with Micro-Tubes.
They range from simple, manual control to fully automated,
multiple-product control.
Tube placement depends on the type of application:
On a planter: Delivery ends of the Micro-Tubes are attached to the planter shanks, trailing down the furrow just behind the seed tubes. On a cultivator: Micro-Tubes place crop protection products or fertilizer right next to the plant for direct uptake. On tillage equipment: Micro-Tubes are usually attached to the sweeps for a broadcast effect.
Easy to Use
Applicators simply fill the supply tanks, start the system and proceed with planting, cultivation or tillage. Patented manifolds hold the key to the system’s accuracy.
Micro-Tubes come in a variety of sizes to fit growers’ individual needs. Plus, each size is a different color for ease of identification.
Other Benefits:
Reduced exposure: There are no nozzles or orifices to adjust or unclog, reducing worker exposure.
Minimum Drift: Since the product solution is placed directly into the
furrow or soil, there is very little possibility of product drift or
waste.
Custom Configuration: Each system is tailored for the individual
implement. Growers provide the specifics of their equipment and needs;
Agri-Inject then custom designs a system for their particular
application.
Versatile: The system adjusts to handle liquids of various
viscosities. In addition, the system can be configured to apply more
than one product at the same time.
On-going Testing: Agri-Inject constantly conducts research to improve the system at the Yuma Irrigation Research Foundation Farm in Yuma, Colo., as well as at private research farms throughout the U.S.
Patented Manifolds:
Quick Quad Dividers allow fluid to flow directly to a junction point. After reaching that point, the fluid is dispersed evenly through all manifold outlets.
Multi-Quad Dividers are designed for larger volumes, but still deliver all the benefits of the Quick Quad Dividers.
